White Plate with Character “guan” (Tang Dynasty)

Unearthed in 1985 from Huoshaobi at the northern suburb of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The mouth of the plate is in the shape of a pentagonal flower and the whole glaze was pure white. At the bottom part of the base, a character pronounced “guan” in Chinese was inscribed. This object should be from the “Ding Kiln” in the Tang Dynasty.
